Heritage Bread Pantry (Free)

The Bread Pantry distributes FREE Food Items to ANYONE in need every Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m.

Located in the Grand Hall of the Ministry Center Building at Heritage Community Church.

We would love to have you join our team.  The Daily Bread Pantry has several opportunities for you to show Gods kindness.

  • volunteers with vans or trucks to make store pick-ups.
  • volunteers to bag and organize the food.
  • volunteers to witness to the unsaved.
  • volunteers to share what other Heritage Community Church ministries have done for them.

If you have time to drop something off early on Friday mornings, we need:

  • volunteers to cut and organize store coupons
  • donated supplies i.e. plastic gallon size bags, bags for participates to carry their selections home
  • donated store bought food items
  • donated gas cards.
The Bread Pantry Volunteers and participants are truly blessed by their ability to share with one another and see how God works through His Holy Spirit. Come and join us!

Food Assistance (Free)

For many years, HCC has provided non-perishable canned goods to seniors on fixed incomes as well as parishioners in need of help.

If you are in need of food assistance, please contact Goldie Morrow at 410-551-8500, ext.248

Being a part of the Heritage The Bread Pantry- what a wonderful way to get involved in serving and supporting your church and community.

What Can You Do?   Become a ministry partner:

  • Help to keep the pantry stocked via two food drives per year
  • A monthly replenishment request that will be posted in the church’s Sunday bulletin the first of every month.  A basket or box will be available in the Church lobby and the Ministry Center lobby for donations.
  • Monetary donations or grocery gift cards are always welcome.
  • Help stock the shelves and fill requests.
  • Help facilitate food drives.

Please email Pastor Cristy Eslick cristy.eslick@heritagecc.net to find out how you can get involved

These ministries reach right into the hearts and homes of individuals, families, and volunteers… and further they can become one of the instruments for HCC to become “The Social Center of Gods Kindness.”   What a gift.

If you would like to donate any non-perishable items, please drop them off at the church office. You may also donate money by check made out to Heritage Community Church with a notation "To The Food Closet".
