What is Faithbooking?

Faithbooking is a means in which you can create a testimony in words and pictures of your personal faith journey.

Faithbooking provides a simple method for you and others to witness our faith journeys.  Our Faithbooks will enable us today and will be there for future generations.

Why Faithbook?

We all have stories to tell.  You just may not realize how important your story is just yet.  If you doubt the power of storytelling, the Bible is full of stories.  In Joshua 4, God tells the children of Israel to set up stones a a guidepost for future generations of how He dried up the river to give them safe passage.

We are commanded by the Lord to remember the significant times of our lives, not just the birthday parties, the vacations but what the Lord has done for us.  The trials and tribulations.  We need to write things down because we often forget the details so easily.  An old proverb reminds us, the palest ink is better than the best memory.

A Faithbook is a wonderful way in which to help us recount, re-live, and re-rejoice in our walk with God over the years in our lives.

3 Reasons to Faithbook

  • Faithbooking helps build a roadmap to make better decisions in the future.
  • By reviewing our stories it can help to increase our faith.
  • Talking about and sharing our Faithbooks often can provide an opportunity to train our children and evangelize to others.

Deuteronomy 4:9

Moses tells the people:  "Be careful and watch yourselves closely so that

you do not forget the things your eyes have seen, or let them slip from your

heart as long as you live."
