Adding a Podcast
Adding a Podcast is very easy but requires some information and a couple of files to complete.
Before you begin, you will need:
- The mp3 podcast file
- An image that goes along with the sermon theme
- any Scriptures used in the sermon
- Sermon notes
- Optional: The video embed code from Blip.tv - to add a video recording of the podcast.
- Under Staff Resources --> Create Content Choose Podcast or Verb Podcast
- Fill in the title, original air date, speaker and scripture reference
- Choose an image that works (you can fine them on google etc) for todays sermon and click upload (wait for it to complete)
- Fill in the Series name, i.e. Ephesians
- choose the MP3 for today and click upload (wait for it to complete - it takes a few minutes)
- Sermon Notes - attach the latest sermon notes to the podcast
- Optional: add the embed code for the video (see below for details)
- Click Save
Embeding a video along with the audio
To get the embed code for the video you uploaded to Blip.tv (see http://heritage-cc.org/docs/adding-video for details on adding a video to Blip.tv):
1. login to www.blip.tv using the Heritage username/password.
2. click on the video you uploaded
3. on the right side of the screen, under the Statistics and Revenue chart, you'll see the word "Embed" and code that looks something like:

copy and paste that into the field that says "Video Embed Code" just below the sermon notes.
